G-man BBQ king Oct 30, 2008 #2 make sure you have all the bolts/nuts off then give it a good hard jiggle and they should just split, most people miss one of the top bolts

C cao New Member Oct 30, 2008 #3 I agree G-man. I've done it twice myself. I have never had to hammer to seperate. Just hammer myself for missing a bolt.
