I am considering loosing my "ifor" top after much comment on my tin shed.
Whadya think??, it means i wont be able to carry, large toolbox, 1200kva generator, drills, workmate, pigs, barbeque, patio set, smart car, pack of wolves, and box of matches.:D :D

PigPen, surely the benefit of the "shed" is that you can go topless when yer want and put it on when yer need it. If you have all yer bits and bobs securely locked in the back for when you go topless you'll be sorted. You might be taking a load of stick from fellow posters, but hey, that's what we do! You carry on wiv yer shed mate. It's different and what makes you stand out from others (oh! apart from the orange paint of course!!) :D

when I first got my pick up I was going to get a shed for the back then I decided to make a ply tonneau cover thing then I was going to get a soft tonneau cover now i'm not going to bother at all.

When I go off road I screw a ally box to the ply floor to put all my chattles in and I never realy go anywhere where things would get nicked out of the back, not that I carry much in the back thats worth nicking.

The worsest thing is stopping empty 1 tonne builders bags blowing out of the back.

Decision made, its all going, shed, truck cab, and im having a hardtop with or without windows.
I come to this conclussion 2 hrs ago while with the missus trying to eat a McDonalds with a dog in the cab as well, a bit cramped to say the least.
So the truck cab and Ifor will be in the for sale bit.

If your taking it all off weigh up how easy it would be to make the roof and rear window panel detachable leaving the corner window bits in place. If it was all hinged it could be folded down into the back. Just a thought.

Like your thinking Grunt;) , but i will have to stay with the permanant hardtop, the cab will have to fund the changeover.;)

just get rid of the ifor and keep the truck cab. you really don't ned to carry all that **** around with you ;)

Ifors gone, ammo boxes bolted in containing, socket set, spanner set, jack, breaker bar, rope, assorted tools.
Whaddya mean Yella, all that crap:eek: you never know when your going to need a generator and a pack of wolves;)

Glad u've put ammo boxes to use - broke me bleedin' back helpin yer carry them buggers back to yer Gaylander!!:D

Nah ... Put it back on! There's a definate advantage when greenlaning if you look like a passing farmer. If you go greenlaning in a conspicuous vehicle, you get the blame for every little disturbance or bit of damage casued in the last six months, even if is obviously caused by bikes or tractors.

Cheers

not all..i had one with hard the night before he..........................................sob!................................sob,...............sorry.................... i just can't.............................................sniffle

Go for the t-cab, your more likely to get laid losing the tin, keep the pigs on the front seat, just in case you get the urge,
