I am in the process of refurbishing a td5 I bought it with a duff engine because of a failed turbo.. So before buying another engine I bought a second hand turbo just to see if it was duff but low and behold it fired up and ran but I noticed that engine oil was coming out of the new exhaust after removing the turbo it looked like the oil was coming from the exhaust manifold into the turbo could this be possible.
If the engine is duff after all is it possible to fit a manual engine in place of the auto one i know that the flywheel will need swapping over what about the ecu will that need reprograming
