hi everyone im Darrell im new to the forum from south east England not long got myself a disco 2 face lift model but summer is coming and my air con aint working so i thought id try a refill kit iv now got the kit but cant seem to find the low pressure port to attach it to i was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction a diagram or picture would be nice but any help would be much appreciated

Not that I've properly looked but byne only AC ports I've noticed are at the back right hand side of the engine bay

Are they not stuck to the inner wing (nearside) ((passenger)) near the Power steering reservoir, two aluminium jobbies with little grey dust caps marked H and L for surprisingly 'High' and 'Low' pressure pipes?

If your ac isn't working at all now, the refill kit may not make much difference. Its probably not working because the previous gas has leaked out - probably via the infamous front pipe on the left hand side of the radiator.
The refill kit won't be able to get rid of the air thats now in the system if the ac gas has totally gone.

+1 on the ruddy pipe
Replaced mine about 5 years ago and the 2nd one has gone now, have lived without it for over a year now.

Hi,
You need to replace the clip with a plastic armoured cable type got from any DIY shop. No more problems then.

Kwikfit £49 - full suck out, test for leaks and then a refill. Takes 45 mins. Sorted my AC out straight away.
