hi everyone last night some scummy bugger has taken my pride and joy.... it is/was a 3 door 200tdi in green... had chequerplate all round awith a side exit exhaust, 265/75/16 kingpin amazons on black alloy wheels. i also had a recently purchased xs half leather interior in the boot waiting to be fitted.. it was taken in the early hours of tuesday morning (22/2/11) form my parents house in skelmersdale (just off the m58)
i have a feeling it may have gone towards kirkby as there has been a few go down that way apparently.... please keep a look out it might b a tatty car to anyone else but it was my tatty car and a on going project for me and my step son :(
the reg is k932chp

its ok just had a phone call from the police its been found and by the sounds of it just a broken door barrel and ignition barrel....... they think its been used off road as its covered in sand, the wheels and tyres are still on it however i didnt ask about the interior in the boot.. hopefully be able to pick it up tomoz if forensics can get round to fingerprinting it :D happy ending to my story

nice 1 mate ,a bit of good news for a change .just wish my case was as fast as yours.where was it found ?.make sure its got every security device ye can think of,then ask on here for 4 more ,ye might be ok then ,robben little **** bags.

it was found in prescott, police couldnt tell me exactly were due to some data protection act....however the recovery place told me the street and which house it was closest too haha, iv not seen the car yet as the police only went to do the fingerprints on it today, however im not confident in the police "capability" as when i asked if the leather interior was still in the boot and the back seats were still there her reply who inspected it for fingerprints was, "oh i dont know i only took a quick look in the car" so they spent most of there time trying to fingerprint on the outside where aparently you cant tell its green because its caked in mud???? the police just baffle me!
so hopefully ill be off to pick it up tomorow and have to hand over £150 just for the privilege of them towing it not even 7 miles!
what a bad experience this has all been and to be honest it has put me off land rovers. but im sure if it still runs and drives ok my love will be restored on the trip to the lock up were its being kept until i figure out what to do with it...
thabks for the support guys and hopefully the next land rover they ****ers rob will be there last as some catch's them and shoots the ****ers!
