Hi guys,

New to the forum and fairly new to Land Rover. Bought a 2015 x plate Discovery Sport back in the summer. Only has 30k x miles, and not had any issues..... Until this weekend.

1. Turn the engine on, no issues
2. Put into drive (its an automatic) - no issues
3. Go to turn the steering wheel - What a noise!!! Sounds like a crunching noise, and the power steering has just went. It also sounds like there is a motor trying to work - but nothing happening?

Anyone have an idea, or able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance - and any tips appreciated :)

If you're comfortable working on your own vehicle, I'd suggest you start off by sourcing the workshop/service manual for your vehicle and checking out the exploded diagrams of the system you're having issues with.....or looking at how young your vehicle is, you might consider booking it into an independent specialist to have them sort it out for you.
The needed technical information for these newer versions would become available in due time, but for now there isn't that much you can find out there by way of DIY experience.
