I have a 3 door 96 disco, i'm abolutely not a mechanic but was wondering if anyone knows or has had their disco roof removed and replaced with a canvas roof or similar for the summer months? Is it possible?
Many thanks

You'd need to speak to a specialist vehicle converter or coachbuilder. It wouldn't be cheap, or easy, but the Disco is still a body shell mounted on a ladder chassis so i can't see why it wouldn't be possible, with a roll hoop to keep some rigidity in the shell.

It would probably cost a stupid amount though, would be cheaper to buy a discovery and a soft top defender together I'd wager, rather than spend thousands on body modifications.

doable cos its got a proper chasis.Go on you tube for the top gear boys doing it to an espace.
