I am a little annoyed at the Discovery Owners Club, they have a shop on their web site and I ordered an item in October and payed through Pay Pal. After waiting a few weeks for delivery I contacted them and asked when the item would arrive, they said they would sent it out, but I have still recieved nothing and now I have had to make a claim through pay pal! :(

I reckon not ...

Someone from there tried to get me to join a couple of years back, he wasn't impressed when I told him I was a member of LZ and didn't need to pay a fee to join them just for a monthly magazine. Never spoke to me again:D

Why not post on their forum, they have a bit for non members to ask a question, no doubt a bit of bad publicity on their own site may speed things up.

They are slow to post out stuff, I waited a couple of months for a few bits, but its run by vounteers remember and they have other things that come first like families and jobs.

It would be different if it was a business making a profit.

Absolutely...give them a chance, sort your **** out with them rather than try and drag people down. **** the bed, try volunteering, putting your own time up for free and see how much people give a ****....it’s hard enough trying to sell poppies these days. Why not be positive about the situation and you might get somewhere!! No, I’m not a member of the Disco Owners Club!!

As they have a shop on there site selling clothes e.t.c. then they are running a buiness to make a profit! I am sure they are not selling items at cost price.

They should inform there customers that the site is run by volunteers and that there will be a delay with proccesing orders.

As said above ask them in the non members bit, nice people on there, just like here really.
