Morning all ..
I recently attempted to change the vehicle on my insurance policy to my Discovery. All was going well until I got to the 'any modifications ?' question. I thought I would start at the front of the car and mentioned the A bar and spots. Well that was it. Neither of the 'experts' knew what it was and thus began the slippery slope.
I didn't even reach the snorkel, rock sliders etc. but was told that it would have to be referred to the underwriters on the A frame alone.
So, my question is ... who do you find knowledgeable and helpful when insuring your Landys ? I'm desperate to get away from the 'computer says no' mentality of the battery hen style call centres.
