Hi guys,

Just got back my car from my local Land Rover specialists after fixing my rear air suspension. I asked him what does a full service covers, and he said all oils and filters. However, he suggest that I dont change the ACE filter. He said its risky, and he never ever sees any problem with any discovery that dont change the ACE filter. Is that true?

And also thinking of waxoyl my discovery. It is a 2001 Discovery that done 65000miles. Is it recommended to waxoyl the car.

Thanks

No real risk in the ACE filter at all, it either comes undone or it don't........simple as that, if it does not come undone, then you have lost nothing, but "imo" for a "specialist" to advise against changing a filter is rather concerning tbh.
