Just wondering whether can you guys help me out. My discovery rear sank and I think the air compressor is gone. Though my discovery is covered by AA Breakdown Repair Cover I'm wondering does this repairs covered by AA or does it coming out of my pocket.

Secondly, I noticed my cruise control not working. Where is the cruise control fuse located and what could be wrong. While the car in motion, activated the cruise button on the dash, and try to pull the set button, nothing happens. And it was more than 30mph.

more likely you have leak and the compressor shut down, unless you have a repair warranty with then no.

I can tell you just about cruise control the following(from the book): it isn't a dedicated fuse for cruise control so check out first the switch with a multimeter if it has the input of 12V, because:

Input to the cruise control master switch is 12 volts via the main relay. When the switch is pressed the circuit is
completed by the ECM providing an earth path for the relay via pin 15 of connector C0658 of the ECM.
The cruise control master switch can fail as follows:
l Open circuit.
l Short circuit to voltage supply.
l Short circuit to vehicle earth.
l Wiring loom fault.
In the event of a cruise control master switch failure cruise control does not operate.

Or if you are luckless it might be a problem with that(and in this case U need tester>

Vehicle Speed Signal (VSS)
The VSS is an integral part of the ECM's overall adaptive strategy. The ECM receives the signal direct from the
SLABS ECU. The SLABS ECU is not connected to the controller area network (CAN) so therefore is hard wired.
The input signal for the SLABS is measured via pin 13 of connector C0658 of the ECM. The SLABS ECU generates
a PWM signal switching between 0 and 12 volts at a frequency of 8000 pulses per mile.

To be easyer to help it's good to know what kind of D 2 you have(not just the MY, for example it's bit of a difference on C.C. between manual and auto, etc.)
