I’m new to the disco world having upgraded from a freelander. Do you have to remove the headlight bulk in order to replace a bulb as can’t see how you can get into them from behind

Hi JIm,

Did you not get an owners manual with the vehicle, if facelift then yes, you do . cannot remember about pre face lift.

Cheers

On facelift, couple of screws to get grille out then couple of bolts top of each headlight, think there's one fixing in the side that butts up to grille, easy. They might be rusted though so softly softly, catchee monkey

I can understand an ex Freelander owner not understanding how to change head lamp bulb, what would they do with out a Forum.;)
On a D1 or the preface lift D2, just release the three quick detachable headlamp clips and the headlamp is free to move, so enabling the bulb to be replaced. No tools required. :)
