andy20166 New Member May 21, 2013 #1 The clutch is going on my 51 plate Discovery. Been given a price to replace it at my local garage (around £450) unless it has a dual mass clutch which will be a lot more. Is there a way to identify which clutch type it has?

timtheenchanteruk Well-Known Member May 21, 2013 #2 the clutch isn't dual mass, the flywheel is. What engine is it, AFAIK the TD5s all had DMF
timtheenchanteruk Well-Known Member May 21, 2013 #3 also, I believe you can get a flywheel conversion to make it a standard flywheel, what this takes away form the drivability I do not know.
