I have recently removed a fixed plate towbar from a 54 plate D3 hoping it would fit straight onto a new D4 however I am struggling to get hold of the bolts which hold the stay bars onto the chassis. I have attached a photo (isn't mine) which show the bolts required however I cannot find these separately. I was wondering whether any one has any or could point me in the right direction. Many thanks

Have you tried the lr dealer?

Yes, called them this morning and said they can only sell all the bolts as a kit. Many thanks

The part that fits inside the chassis is usually on the car and you only remove the bolts at sway bar end to remove the tow bar.

I believe that on the D3 it was there in the chassis however on the late D3 and D4 it is not present. Happy to be corrected on that. Cheers

It’s cheaper to buy the kit - the bolts through the chassis are available separately but are circa £50/side and the kit with all new bolts is circa £50 for the complete set
