Brought myself an old 1997 landrover discovery 300 tdi. First of all what a capable 4x4.
My problem is my indicators stopped working but my hazard lights are all good. Anyone know where the flasher unit is?

Its plugged in on the front internal fuse board, just drop the lid and there it is.
 
Old? How dare you sir! my 1996 is still in the 1st flush of youth. :crutch: If I remember correctly the flasher unit is behind the panel on the drivers side.
 
Cheers lads. I live in outback Australia and put it through its paces. Even thrashing is through 45degree heat and the a/c cranked up I had no issues. I've never owned one before but so far I'm impressed
 
That's hot, just check the coolant level regularly, at that sort of temperature it would not take long to cook the head if it drops low.

A coolant level monitor with audible alarm is a valuable and essential "Disco accessory", can save a lot of financial pain.
