Hello everyone, I have been to look at a disco for my old man and wen I started it up there was a red light which looked like a cog and had thermometer symbol in it, yet it was cold wen I started it. Does it sound like a dodgy sensor because she drove great?

It could be sensor or the wiring to it. When I first got my Disco the light came on sometimes. It turned out to be the cables to the sensor shorting, the insulation on them had worn through where they were resting against a power steering pipe
