so, I need a bigger vehicle to tow a trailer and was going to go for a Navara or pathfinder but then thought what about disco 3......

Insurance is ok at £550 as my no claims are used on my other car but how much is road tax? I'm assuming high at around £530?

What are real world mpg for these?

What should I look for when viewing?

I don't want to spend more than 8k, 6 to 7k ideally so seems to be a 2006/2008

The real big question is what about reliability? I know every manufacturer has the odd common fault but overall, what do you think?

Cause he really wants a range rover and wants us to convince him that a disco 3 is no good for him (got you sussed)

By accident and trying to figure out how to delete it..... can't see how though?

I believe March 2006 is the cutoff date between the nominal £300 and the £500 squid, so a whopping £16 per month difference.

Reliability is a tricky one, going rate is front suspension bushes annually.

Engines etc I'm unsure off, some certainly fall into the cracks with main bearing failure.

Hopefully some more advanced advice is forthcoming.:)
