Good day all – my Discovery 2 V8 manual 2000, has a vibration on acceleration from a standstill start.
The vibration is felt through 1st gear and for a short period in 2nd when accelerating hard and feels as though its coming from the rear. (been cought on this "feeling" before)
LR have had the vehicle for 7 weeks and have checked out / adjusted the following, yet the problem although better persists.

Gearbox
Transfer box - replaced
Mountings of above
Replaced prop-shaft
Replaced bushes on prop-shaft
Rear diff mountings
Traction control
Exhaust

The vibration is felt at lower torque when pulling away on an incline

Any ideas

I know this sounds strange but have a look at the tyres and check for uneven wear.

This doesn't normally happen to disco 2, (usually only on freelander and range rover (L322)) but I've had a couple do it, we did the same, gearbox out etc etc
