My Discovery has been restored back to showroom condition with the exception of a roof rack, an expensive LED kit, etc. However, a problem I have always had with her is her persistent clucking in 1st and reverse. I have had a gearbox oil change with no difference to problem, a new clutch master cylinder with no difference to problem and a new slave cylinder and still no luck.... I could learn to live with it but it frustrates me that it is probably just a loose screw or retaining pin... I have heard that you can adjust the clutch cable but I have no idea where it is. If it helps to diagnose it, if I put the clutch down and change into 1st/reverse it clunks but if I move back to neutral (foot still on clutch) and go back to 1st/reverse there is no clunking. Any help would be great!

What disco is it & where's the before & after resto pics ??
Few things to check.............
Prop & uj's, drive members/half shafts, diff flange, tfb flange, check a frame ball joint or gearbox shafty worn

Cheers Kev
