Hi,

I just got Discovery 2 that has the factory stereo in it, and it has the Harman Kardon sound system as well. I'm looking at installing my Kenwood stereo from my old car and I'm struggling to find the right information on what ISO adapter I need.

The standard stereo has the 2 usual black/brown plugs that most stereos have, but then also a row along the top with a green, yellow and blue section. What do these top ones do? As every adapter I found online for Disco 2's don't have this part. I also have a 6CD changer if that makes any difference, but Im not bothered at all about retaining that functionality, I only ever use spotify/bluetooth.

I would also like to keep the steering wheel controls. Is there an adapter for that?

Any help or advice to point me in the right direction are appreciated. An hour of googling hasn't gotten me very far unfortunately. Thanks.

Ok, so right after posting I found this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400422308070

Which I had seen before but didn't fully go down in description. In the description is a picture with the same as mine, with the extra blue/yellow/green plug on it. Reading the description it seems to me that this is a regular ISO adapter but will also let me use the steering wheel controls too. Is that correct?

Though I'm still none the wiser about the extra plugs. What are they for and what do they connect to?

Mine didn't have the Harmon Kardon but I'm guessing steering wheel controls and 6cd changer under the seat.
Does the Harmon Kardon have a separate AMP or a sub woofer?
