Pinchers

I recently picked up a disco 1 V8 for a daily drive and Offroad toy. Ive been going over it getting it ready for a mot, so far ive had to change the UJ's on the steering column, while playing with the steering I noticed a whine from the steering pump and after searching on the forum read that there are alot of probs with the pump and steering boxes. When i came in from work today I saw a puddle under the steering pump, i took a pic looking for advise on whether the box needs changed or if it is a loose hose. Bur after running the engine and stopping it i noticed power steering fluid ****ing out the vent on the fill point, its also a dirty brown colour.

Can some one tell me if fluid coming out the header for the steering is a normal sign of a buggered pump or is it something else???

I would love the get any bits i need for the weekend so i can get it on the road asap

Thanks

Is it from the box or pump , pic's are of pump , check jubilee clips / renew before worrying to much

Its from the pump - any reasons for the PS fluid overflowing when i turn the engine of and the steering hasnt been used.
