Hi, my disco 4 tdv6 engine has destroyed itself 4 months out of warranty; lack of oil ! Owners manual says wait for message on the dash to tell you to check oil level - this never happened and therefore seized solid. The dealers took it apart and found the oil level sensor cables burnt out. Land rover customer care told me today it's my fault; should have ignored the manual and not relied on the automatic oil level sensor. Looking at a £13,000 bill. Thanks Land Rover !!!

it is your fault buddy,dont be so fecking lazy and do your weekly checks
 
While they're at it maybe they should fit a sticker on the dash saying check the " Oi dipstick check the dipstick"
