Been nosing round at the price of Range rovers, and without looking too hard i found loads in autotrader for under 5k, all around 95/96 models, quite a few with 2.5 BMW diesel engine.
Sooooooo, question is why a Disco for same-ish money over a Rangie? The Rangie is deffo nicer inside and to drive, so why did you choose yours?

I looked long and hard at P38's before buying my disco TD5 this month, and like you saying nowt to pick between prices, 2 reasons I went disco were 1st cos its a work vehicle and the image to my customers is better with the discovery over rangie, and 2nd the TD5 seems better regarded than the DSE lump and is more tuneable for my towing needs.

cause i just couldnt find a diesel rangie for the same money as the disco 200 tdi.
(in my particular budget range).
