Are you a member of the AA or other such group? "ive broken down and need it taking to my house in redditch" for instance

not that this is the sort of thing that i have ever done......

depends on the level of cover you have,

get a mate in the aa or something to do it for you,

or someone with a "plus" bank account often comes with breakdown cover, i use mine all the time for it and it covers me ,not the car.

Got my mg from nuneaton to manchester ... then manchester back to nuneaton a week later hahaha

i think that may be the case if you only have the bare minimum cover... tow to the nearest garage type thing. But its more a guide rather than a "reet me old mucker thats 10 miles... can go no farther"

Never really looked into it to be honest as never been that bothered so i am just hazarding a guess.
