Hi,

just a query,does anyone know if the rear window switches
on a 98 Disco I should be illuminated when you switch your
headlights on ?

If it's a series 2 (II) then yep

if it's an early 98, ie built in 97, and a series 1, then dunno

Take the switch out of the panel and look at it. if it's supposed to be illuminated it'll have a bulb fitted.

Disco 1's have the bulb position, but arent always populated.

My D1 rear window switches fitted in the doors aren't illuminated and in my parts catalogue a bulb is not shown as a part, unlike the switches in the centre console which are illuminated and the bulb and holder are shown.
