Hi Guys, I've been given an Hreg disco for silly money and I thought it would make the idea play thing. If I was to bobtail it or turn it into a pick up would I need an SVA test, I've been onto Adrian flux and told them what I intend to do and they've said it's not a problem so long as I tell them what I've done.

Your thoughts would help.

no SVA required as you are using (mainly) proprietory items, but I reckon it would be a good idea to get a local good indy to give you an engineers report on the finished item. Mite even get you cheaper insurance.

If you shorten the chassis as part of the bobtailing or pickup conversion then you will need an SVA.
