hi , can anyone inform me of any internal difference between a diesel automactic box and a V8 on a 300 series disco...reason i ask is that ive just converted my 3.9 v8 to a 300 tdi . both engines had auto boxes so i went along and put in the 300 tdi engine and its box ,but its turned out this box has problems so i want to know if the V8 box is the same box as the tdi ( i know the bell housing is different )
