Recently electronic H/Brake slightly slow to release, on last journey it felt like h/b was going on and off while driving (noise and slight deceleration) no warning lights, stopped and checked but no heat at rear wheels? H/B operates ok, going on and off as normal when vehicle is parked. Any ideas? Thanks Peter

When was the EPB last served? The EPB shoes should be stripped, cleaned, lubricated, reassembled and adjusted annually, but never are, so problems arise.

Not unusual for the caliper sliders to seize.

Hb shoes need checking/adjusting annually.

If you have had the car some time you can tell if they need attention just by listening, as the brake takes much longer than normal to lock on.
