My disco 3 the epb squeels like a pig but is locked on ive located the release pull cable and as instructed by many pull it very hard

I did this and the cable broke

What does one do now the park brake is on ?

I thought you could run thro an electronic sequence, perhaps Google procedure for fitting new brake shoes and pads
