What percentage of disco 2 V8s where manual ? I would love one but every time I find a nice looking V8 it's always auto. There must have been a market for them , surely.

U will find upper echelon of LR vehicles seem to be automatic, why not. Try looking for the lower spec vehicle although auto was an option for all D1 and 2s.

Strangely enough, our D2 V8 manual was built as such, but had the ZF auto box ECU installed.

Built November 1998 but not registered until June 1999, used by Rover as a development vehicle I believe. It's a GS but has H-K sound system and heated mirrors.

Most ex police were manual I think. Look for white ones!

I run a V8 D2 as my works vehicle and looked for ages to find a manual but couldn't find one. Interestingly I've just done a search on Autotrader and there isn't a single V8 Manual for sale Nationwide, loads of manual diesel.
