My 1999 v8 keeps cutting out don’t seem to matter if it’s hot or cold but does often do it right after start up i just can’t seem to find the problem any suggestions?

Yes only code showing is p1590 which correct me if I’m wrong is abs but that is a whole other problem

I put a new battery in it today hasn’t seemed to help

Is it possible the battery is too small the one I took out and the one I put in are 68ah 550 amps

I don't know what those should have, it is several years since I had one.
But I would think that is OK for a petrol engine, and it should produce enough voltage to keep your ECUs happy.

From memory, mine did that too. I think that is just delay in the electronics.
Mine never used to die altogether, though, always kept running.
