andyb66 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 #2 I know you can retro fit the GEMS efi from a 4.0 to a 3.9. The 4.0 is pretty much a 3.9 with a different front cover and a serpentine belt. Have you tried asking this in the V8 section. Most of the V8 gurus probably hang around in there.

E eightinavee Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 #3 Its not that easy,on the 3.9 engine there is no mounting plate for the crankshaft position sensor.Or the threaded holes for the knock sensors.
