hi rebuilding my v8.
on the front timing cover oil seal they recomend to put retanex grease behind the seal.
what is this grease and why do you put it in does it have to be this grease.
also any body out there want a good 3.9 block with honed cylinders ready to go.

It is put there to keep the seal lubricated while the oil gets around the engine.

Can be any good quality grease, but not a water pump grease.
