Hi all,
So, this morning I drove my 2001 TD5 around the back of the house to change the air suspension to coil. Jacked it up, got the airbags out and got the springs in place. Unrelated, but while I was at it, I'd unplugged the water sensor in the bottom of the fuel filter and sprayed the contacts with cleaner. It let that dry for a half hour while we did the suspension, then plugged it back in nice and clean.
All went well and we dropped the car back down off the jack. I went to crank the engine to see how she drove, and it didn't start. We have a dig around and it seems neither of the two keys I have don't work any more. I can only lock and unlock the vehicle with the door lock.
Looks like the immobiliser has kicked in and won't re-mobilise. I've seen some kind of guide online about going through some motion with the key in the lock to put in the code again, but where do I find the code?
Any idea why this could have happened?
Thanks in advance.
