Hi all I've got a series 2
I've also got a pair of disco 2 axels that I'm gonna convert to leaf springs and put under the series
I'm looking for steel wheel alternatives
Does anyone know of any other steel wheels that will fit the disco 2
Thanks in advance

I'm sorry, I can't help you with steel wheels for your Disco 2 axles, but beware, the stud pattern is particular to the Disco 2 and the P38.

The only easily available options are :
1 - D2 Commercial wheels - 16 in diameter & 7 inch rim width with standard D2 offset.
2 - D2 Aftermarket modular wheels - 16 in diameter & 8 inch rim width with 25 or maybe 30mm increased offset.

Sorry to hijack this but it’s related to steel wheels on a disco 2. Do you need dedicated steel wheel nuts or is it perfectly safe to use the alloy wheel nuts?

Nuts for alloys might be usable if the cone angle next to the wheel is compatible, but they aren't meant to be used with steels. They'd probably look awful too as they're much longer than the specific steel wheel nuts.
LR have specific nuts for the D2 commercial wheels. Beware modular wheels often have a different cone angle where the nut seats & in theory should have their own specific nuts to ensure full contact with wheel & to maximise thread engagement. Unfortunately, the aftermarket nuts are nowhere as strong or as well made as the LR nuts & are much easier to cross thread & partially strip - especially if using an impact gun.
I use the LR D2 commercial nuts with modulars after initially using the provided aftermarket nuts, but deciding they were cr#p & that I was willing to accept the cone angle mismatch as long as I checked tightening torque regularly.
