N Nigel1943 Active Member Jun 5, 2017 #1 My rear mudflap bracket needs replacing. Anybody any ideas on how to get the two screws out that fixes to the outside of the wing? They are both badly corroded. I take it they are screwed into the plastic trim piece?

B brianconwy Well-Known Member Jun 5, 2017 #2 The screws on mine were badly corroded and on one side the thin metal of the wing had deteriorated. One screw went through the clip if I remember rightly. I had to rivet bits of steel on to have a fixing point where the hole was. It all came out alright in the end. I will see if I have any useful Pics.
