That's a good idea, they weren't around, well at a reasonable price, when I first started all this lark.If mirrors won't work, maybe you should consider installing rear view cameras on the trailer or on top of the vehicle if there's enough clearance.

But you would still need to get used to the screen and the cameras cos if they are at all wide angle a vehicle coming fast up behind can seem to be a long way away when in fact it is right on top of you in no time.
great!That's true but the more hi-tech cameras can do real time image processing and can show proximity readings of static and moving objects behind you and display warnings when they are too close or when their relative speed is too high and they are closing in rapidly.
