got a disco 2 and if i dont use every couple of days battery goes flat
anyone any idea what could be causing this is it common

Yes. It not unknown for a vehicle battery's cell to go faulty, time to replace the battery maybe.

Have you removed the airbags recently?

Have you done a drain check?

Get the battery tested at your local auto parts shop for free.

Might be worth checking your alternator too, if you have a multi-meter or know someone who has, mine outputs at about 14v.
As above though I'm sure they'd check that if you have it tested .

batterys all good i have changed the batts it defo something draining the batery when you fist put leads on battery theres a small spark just to show theres something using power ??

The spark means nothing untill you dont check the drain and the charging

this was draining battery when it was on disco 2 chassis as well ?
