I have read a lot of posts about door actuators and their replacement but my issue is with actual door lock. My central locking doesn't work on the driver's door but neither does the key. The latter is an issue in case the battery goes dead and I can't open at all. My feeling is that the ignition lock may have been changed and the previous owner lost the door keys. The key doesn't seem to go in properly let alone turn. I haven't found any new or used door locks as replacements or can the barrels be dismantled. Leaning over from the passenger side is a chore for me let alone my shorter better half.
Has anyone experience of similar problems, please?
