Hello I was hoping someone could help! I know this has been spoken about before but I can't quite find a solution, so sorry!

I bought a no starter '99 T reg Discovery 2, madness in itself! Having got the eka code it now goes and sounds fine. However I can only get in the driver's door. As it superlocks automatically i understand. The key fob will silence the alarm and turns the interior light on/off, it also will bleep if you press lock with drivers door open. But it won't unlock the doors! The unlock button inside also does nothing. I checked all fuses and also have inspected inside head lining which seems bone dry and sunroofs are both sealed up.

I am now a bit lost and can't believe there's anything greatly wrong but what? Could the bcu need reprogramming even though the fob turns alarm off and it recognises the eka code? Is there a relay somewhere for the central locking? As it's all doors I'm lead to believe it must be a central issue. Is there a main lock actuator for all doors somewhere?

Any help much appreciated !

Have you tried putting it on diagnostics? nanocom or similar, may give you a hint of what to check.

Cheers

Tried Hawkeye but to be honest no very familiar with it. Listed all the locks just as idle. Sorry what is rave? Heard of it

Well to clear this up in case of anyone having the same issues. It turned out to be a tiny purple wire beneath the fuse board in the bonnet with a tiny spot of corrosion on. Cut this out and rejoined and it all works. Then managed to clear flashing mileage too with Hawkeye! So I'm incredibly chuffed!
