No cannot not see how it could, my take on your post is, central locking is not working but the alarm is, or is this mistaken? Maybe check some fuses.

woodt55 New Member Oct 26, 2017 #3 alarm and imobilizer work ok,have put all new fuses in and i get a click from a relay and thats all.car is first registerd january 1994 5 door so no spider.relay click is in passenger footwell had all relays checked all ok.
