Hi chaps
4L v8 has various fuslt but this one my priority now. Long runs are fine but anything less the about 20 mins stop start and when i go to start nothing happens. As i turn the key to start i can hear the relay pick up and then somthing slowly starts winding and then stops? I imagine this is thr starter motor slowly turning. Only cure its to bump start of wait half an hour where it then has always suddenly decided to turn over and start. Checked battery seems ok havent ckexk aulternator yet but would imagine if battery is good then its good. When it turns over it always sounds healthy and not sluggish. So my guess it thr stater motor is breaking down? But only ever happens on short jouneys. Any help?
Also have read loads up on egr removal. Are these only fitted to diesels as cant fing anything for petrol engines? Cheers
