hi all, the time has come when my rear crossmember has gone beyond patching & now requires complete replacement. Has any one any advice ref replacement & which is the best aftermarket crossmember to use

hi red, to be honest i don't know which one is which. basically standing at the rear of the vehicle looking down at the bottom of the rear door the box section there is as rotten as you can get. depending on which cross member it is what type of job is removal/refitting any advise would be appreciated.:)
 
Body crossmember is the bit you see chassis crossmember is under the vehicle and ya have to get down on ya knees to have a look fot it

if you can't weld don't even think about doing the work ya self. have a look at the link to the nYRM site to see what needs replacing.

hi red, welding is not a problem9although a bit slow) just wondered where the cross member is attatched & how big a job it actually is to replace
