I am looking at buying a disco soon for hunting how do you know if its a disco 1 or a disco 2 does it go by the year - make-?

1 up to 1995 i fink.get a 1 tdi they is best...

that would be the D1 200TDi's that were made up to 93', D1 300TDi's brought out in 94', D2 brought out from 98' onwards.

Disco 1 is the one to get if you can find a rust (ish) free one,
Disco 2 on = way to much electrics to go wrong
