Can anyone advise me if it is possible to adjust the steering on the Disco 1 series, to stop the steering locking so far.
I needed to replace all 4 tyres for the MOT and as the old girl is getting a bit old, wanted some reasonable part worn 235 70R 16's which were originally on it. I couldn't find any that size, but was assured by a local tyre outlet that 255 65 16's were ok and they found and fitted some good part worn ones; only to find on driving home that the front tyres are rubbing when on a nearly full lock !!
They assured me that they have fitted this size before on discos without problems !!
I certainly can't take for it's MOT with the tyres rubbing.
I did notice on the forums, after the event, all the tyre sizes advised seem to be 70 profile for Disco 1's
Any advice please.
