Evening all.

I have a 3.9 V8 in my Disco 1 which is on a manual box....which doesn't seem to have a lot of 2nd gear synchro left!

Having done a search I can see that people have changed from an auto to a manual, but is there any reason why I can't do the reverse?

I should have bought an auto really as it was what I wanted but, I was blinded by the mpi LPG fitted which swayed me. Is it feasible to convert a manual to auto? What will I need to do it other than gearbox, pedal box and torque convertor?

you need box with torque convertor,replace flywheel with auto drive plate,mounts auto cross member and plate for console and brackey for hi/low lever straight fit with the rigth parts
