Evenin'all.My transmission oil cooler appears to have a pinhole fracture at one end.The disco is off the road for bodyshell repair.Any one got any suggestions for any temporary repair,so I can start the engine without losing all the fluid? Cheers, Phil.
thanks,will get some tomorrow,and give it a go,fluid seems to be under a fair bit of pressure though, but its only a stop gap till Ican get another cooler. Cheers.
If it was in the pipe u could cut it and sleeve with rubber hose and hose clips. As u say there is pressure and any "fix" is just a get u home fix best get a new oil cooler asap.
