Hi, I am a new Land Rover owner, and have just taken delivery of a Discovery 3 TDV6 S. What a fabulous bi8t of kit this is......except......I have a recurring Suspension Fault problem. I have had the car for four weeks, it has now been back to the dealer three times, and I have been told today that it needs a new compressor.....anyone out there had or got a similar problem? Incredibly frustrating; keeps vehicle at Normal Height, doesn't allow for adjustment, but after switch off - switch on, can be absoultely fine for 50 miles...or 5 miles; no pattern. Any other experiences? - and if so, how did your dealer sort it?

The main fault on new disco is the blue conector which is located in nearside front wing behind inner plastic wing cover, this is the only fault i have come across on the air suspension,it will cause all the above problems, take connector apart and i bet you find green terminals on a couple of pins sometimes cleaning terminals and then wrapping so to stop water ingress and corrosion, sometimes if to bad new wiring loom i hope this helps your dealer, all the best tiga

Tiga, thanks for this; will pass info on to my dealer as car is going in early next week. Hope this is solution as compressors are out of stock! Best am0206

It could also be a problem with one of the vehicle height sensor connectors, there are four one at each wheel any one of which could cause a failure of the air sus.
