Hi,
Thinking about fitting front disc brakes on my 2A, has anyone looked at Heystee Automotice and their kit (incl para springs)? They are not cheap, but what are the alternatives?:)

wot size drums yu got on yours? 10 or 11"?

the general concensus is that if they are set up proper then a set of 11" drums stop pretty well.

range rover axles, wider track, better CVs, taller gearing if you want and discs all round at a fraction of the cost of a kit

Just weld on spring perches and your pretty much there.

Cheers Steve

Save your pennies the standard 10 Inch work just fine, if you set them up right.
Don't bother swapping your axle's caus this just F***'s up the suspension set up.
Also remember that your 2a is TAX exempt and fitting none standard breaks or axels will cause you to loose points.
You may lose TAX exemption and have to take a SVA

i got a v8 in mine and i don't feel the need for discs but i am used to crap brakes having owned about 200 lambrettas over the last 25 years.
