Hi chaps

We have a Discovery 2. It's a 2002 face-lifted model, if that's relevant..

When we bought it, we did not know that the 'rear air conditioning' option (which it has) took up extra space in the boot. Basically, as you will probably know, the left hand-side of the boot is taken up with about a foot sticking out of trim.

This is particularly bad in my case, as it has 7 seats - all of which we use so need to retain.

Can I remove this trim (and whatever is behind it)? and simply get a 'standard' trim (shallower) from a breakers yard? ... Hence re-claiming the lost boot space?!

Does anybody know what is behind that trim, and what would be involved, please? I don't mind losing 'rear' 'air conditioning', but would like to still have air flow through the rear ceiling vents.

Really hope someone can help, before I start pulling the boot apart, not knowing what to find or what I might damage!

Thanks in advance..!
